OUTFIT POST: LADY IN RED

Now that I'm living in Singapore, I'm lucky to have so many amazing locations on my doorstep so it seems only right that I start collaborating with professional photographers so I capture everything about the wonderful places I find on my travels. For this shoot, I partnered up with Adam at Foundation Photos and shot in my local area of Tiong Bahru. I'm so pleased with how the images turned out and I'm very much looking forward to working with him on lots of fun outfit posts in the near future so this is just the start!

For those of you that don't know Singapore very well, Tiong Bahru is known as the 'hipster' area and although I can say this is definitely true, I like to think I'm not too much of a hipster myself! At the moment, myself and my fiancĂ©, Ruairidh, are absolutely loving living here so I really enjoyed getting out and exploring the local neighbourhood. There's quirky coffee shops, boutiques, lovely walkways filled with potted plants and amazing trees and a pretty square to finish off with a statue of a dancing lady - could you get any prettier than that? We shot in the evening due to the heat and I'm so glad we did because it was hot enough at night, I think I'd have well and truly melted shooting at midday!

One thing I do love about shooting in Singapore is the amazing greenery as it really brings out the colours in your outfit. For this look, I'm wearing one of my favourite outfits which I've worn lots for both day and night already. These Zara Pom Pom sandals are my go-to choice of footwear as they give me a bit of height but they're pretty comfy, my Zara ruffle sleeve dress always wakes me up and give me an added confidence boost and my amazing boxy bag is one I picked up from a flea market out here! It's so unusual and I love the Geisha lady on the front.

I also added minimal accessories including my Quay Australia cat-eye sunglasses which I'm obsessed with and piled on some delicate necklaces by Lovisa, which are so easy to wear with everything from t-shirts to dresses.
