When a press release about a new hands free shopping service called Dropit launching on Regent Street in London popped into my inbox I felt like all my shopping dreams had come true in that one second! For the shoppers amongst you who would rather have the in-store experience and try on in a fitting room, touch the fabrics and check out the new collections on the High Street in person as opposed to shopping online at the click of a button, then this service is genius! Basically, the revolutionary shopping service offers same-day delivery from the store to your door so you can forget about the restrictions or burdens of your shopping bags and keep on going!

There's no way I would rather go on a shopping spree, carry a load of shopping bags around with me until they are breaking my arms off, finally get the bags to my car and then end up wanting to cry when the said bags are making imprints in my hands! No thanks, I'd much rather use a service like Dropit so I can use my hands to carry on shopping, go for a cocktail, eat some food and meet my friends (who are also seriously addicted to shopping ) without worrying about where to put my bags.

So here's how the Dropit service works...

Helping you to plan your shopping route, you firstly need to sign up to the Dropit App to see which of your favourite shops offer the service. Once you're all spent up on Regent Street at the stores affiliated with the app you can either leave your shopping at that store or at one of the other Dropit points along Regent Street.

Once your profile is set up via the app, you fill in your personal details (where you want your shopping to be delivered) and purchase Dropit credits where you can choose to purchase a single drop (handy if you fancy a drink with a friend and would rather go hands free ) or you can opt for a day pass or three-day pass. Your bags will then be delivered to your home, hotel or office at a time convenient for you which could be the same day or another evening tailored to you and Voila! Hassle free shopping at its best!

There's also no need to worry that your bags won't arrive as there's tracking information available whilst the service also rewards you for being a savvy shopper by sending you special offers to suit your style. Now all I need is a reason to go shopping....!

Let me know what you think of this service in the comments below!

Before I moved to Northampton I hosted a Stella & Dot Trunk Show. I've always been jewellery obsessed so filling my house with jewels and lots of lovely family and friends before I left seemed to be the perfect way to go! If you've never heard of Stella & Dot you should definitely take a peek at the website here. There are currently no Stella & Dot stores so the jewellery and accessories can only be purchased online, unless you host one of the Trunk Shows at home. But what could be better than enjoying a glass of prosecco and browsing some beautiful jewellery at the same time?
Thank you for reading and hope you've had a lovely Sunday!

The Trunk Show was hosted by the lovely Stella & Dot Stylist Lauren Simcox (you can find her profile here) and during the evening we received some amazing demonstrations on how to wear some of the key Stella & Dot pieces as the beauty of this brand is that most pieces can be worn multiple ways. We watched Lauren style a printed scarf into many fun knots as well as a waistcoat but the piece I loved the most is the Zoe Lariat Necklace as this necklace can be worn in every way imaginable! I think it's the perfect necklace for Summer as it would look amazing for the office over a blouse, or worn with a loose tee for luxe weekend styling.(Lauren was a fantastic host so see the details above if you would like her to be your Stylist for the night, I can highly recommend her).

I haven't purchased anything with my discount yet but I'm sure I won't find it too difficult! When you host a Trunk Show you get to 'try before you buy' so I've definitely got my eye on a few fine necklaces as well as some statement pieces. The jewellery and accessory prices range from around £20 upwards but the quality is fantastic, especially when you consider the cost per wear. I'll make sure I blog about my host gift so you can see the quality of the jewellery, plus the Stella & Dot packaging is definitely worthy of a separate blog post.

Here's a look into what it's like to host a Stella & Dot Trunk Show and I hope you feel inspired to have one of your own...

HUGE apologies for the lack of new blog posts on Sarah's Style Statement. I've recently moved to Northampton with my boyfriend Rory so that's kinda taken over my life, fitting more than 50 pairs of shoes and all my clothes in a van was no mean feat but now I'm all settled in I'm ready to blog absolutely loads. How would everyone feel if I was to do some posts about moving house/what you need for a first house as I'm thinking about focusing some posts around interiors?

Now that I'm going to be working in London it means I can attend more blogger and press events as I missed out on loads when I lived in the North West so hopefully you'll also see a lot more posts about new collections, beauty products and so much more.

As excited as I am about transferring to the Stylistpick HQ in London, moving away from family and friends can be a daunting experience. I've moved away from home before but never lived with a BOY before (ha!) so there's a lot of adjusting to do but it's all very exciting and I'm sure I'll continue to love it more and more each day. I'm loving having our own little space and although we've only bought a few bits and bobs, it's already beginning to feel like home.

Now that I have a house, I'm going to have to control my fashion and beauty buying habits to an extent but I'm quite looking forward to having more responsibility whilst making sure that anything I do buy is a well thought out 'investment'.Each piece in this outfit has so far been a good investment so I thought I'd share this look with you. The rust coat from H&M is a super throw on piece and it's the perfect thickness for Summer. I'm also a real denim lover so my ripped skinny jeans also from H&M, definitely get worn regularly with most of my tops and layering pieces. I've styled this look with a plain white New Look tee, a vintage Moschino belt, gold chain necklace from Topshop and Fringed Bag from Zara. But the piece I'm most excited about has to be my Black Suede Mules from Florence & Fred at Tesco! I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted these beauties, they are also available in tan as well. The quality of them is fantastic and they are real suede, but ten times cheaper than other styles I've seen on the high street.

I hope you love this look and my little life update! If you're a Northampton blogger comment below as I'd love to get involved in any local blogger meet ups or events!
