I'm a bit nosy when it comes to blogger haul posts and I love seeing what people are buying and recommending so I've decided to do my own 'What's in My Makeup Bag Haul' which will hopefully help you to discover some new products that you've never tried before.
I am a complete makeup addict and I'm embarrassed to say that this is just my favourite products to wear for day time and the overall look I create for everyday is fresh, natural and dewy.
So here's my edit of hero products:
Primark Flamingo Print Makeup Bag
My old makeup bag was looking a little tired recently so I picked up this gorgeous flamingo print makeup bag in good old Primark. It's super spacious and I can't get enough of the dreamy tropical print.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in Beige and Chanel Vitalumiere Velvet in Beige
After purchasing both of these foundations I don't think I'll try another brand again, I think I've found my holy grail foundation! The Vitalumiere Aqua is dewy, much lighter on the skin and the perfect coverage for everyday and if I want a darker finish (if I'm wearing fake tan or going on a night out), I'll mix the two together and the coverage is just right.
Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya
If you're looking for a good cross between a lipstick and lip balm/tint, this product is ideal. It's buttery formula makes it very easy to apply and I like the fact it's less work than applying a full coverage lipstick. This shade is a great Summery coral too!
Benefit Longwear Powder Eyeshadow in Thanks A Latte
To make myself look less tired, I always try to wear an eyeshadow which is usually a rose gold/bronze colour as this really helps to brighten the eyes and cover up any redness. This Benefit shade is ideal for everyday as it has a slight shimmer but isn't too glittery. The staying power of these eyeshadows is really good and I sometimes use this with a darker brown to create a smoky eye for evening.
Lucas Papaw Ointment
This tube of goodness is an absolute lifesaver! My best friend brought it back from Australia for me and you can use this product for so many things including dry skin, skin irritations, as a lip balm and even to tame unruly brows - the list is endless!
UNE BB Concealer
If you're looking for a concealer than blends easily and gives a flawless finish this UNE concealer is a must-have. In a lovely small sliding compact with a mirrored front (for all those daily touch ups!) this concealer is never out of my sight. I use this under my eyes and on any blemishes to keep my skin looking healthy and fresh.
Nars Contour Blush in Paloma
I'm not overly keen on a heavy, contoured look for daytime but I do think it's essential for enhancing the cheekbone area. I use this sparingly to highlight the hollows of my cheeks and temples and it helps to give my pale skin some colour and definition.
L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara in Extra Black
This is the best mascara I've tried in a long while and this is the third one I've purchased - as you can see from the packaging it's completely worn out from overuse! It lasts longer than most mascara's and doesn't dry up and I think the wand is great for lengthening and curling the lashes.
MAC Mineralize in Soft & Gentle and MAC Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15
I'm still loving both of these products but if you'd like to read my full reviews you can read them here and here.
Rimmel Brow This Way (Brunette)
If you're looking for a brow product that's a complete game changer, then you need to try Brow This Way! It's a wanded brush which tames the brows whilst tinting them slightly at the same time. It takes a little bit of getting used to if you haven't used a tinting product before but this product is super long lasting and keeps my brows looking shapely all day long.
This is a bit of a long post but I hope it's been helpful?
Comment below if you have any questions or recommendations for me and enjoy the rest of your Sunday :)
