 What I'm Wearing:

Top - New Look
Bralet (worn underneath) - H&M
Fringed Bag - Mary & Milly
Flared Jeans - C/O Marks & Spencer
Shoes - New Look
Rings - H&M
Watch - DKNY

In the second part of my Seventies Series I've gone for a more laid-back, bohemian weekend look and teamed my dreamy Marks & Spencer flares with a Gypsy style crochet top from New Look.

Usually I would wear a cami underneath a top like this to avoid any bra exposure but as this top has such pretty detailing I couldn't resist wearing a bralet instead, which I think adds to the soft and subtle appeal of this style. When it's too warm for jeans (I'm crossing my fingers for a super hot Summer) I'll be teaming this floaty number with frayed denim shorts and lace up sandals.

If you're channeling 'hippy vibes' your look must definitely feature fringing so this tan across the body bag from Mary & Milly on Asos Marketplace is the perfect size for all Summer adventures. I'm not going to a festival this year but if I was I'd definitely be taking this bag with me!

Last but not least, I added some statement earrings and my New Look peeptoe block heels which you can find here.

I hope you're enjoying my Seventies series, I can't wait to share my final look with you!

I don't know how you feel about the Seventies trend but personally I'm so glad that flares have made a comeback. I love a good pair of skinny jeans and they have become my staple uniform over the last few years but with the sun shining this weekend and Spring in the air, it felt so good to try something new and style up this Seventies-inspired blouse and high-waisted flares by Marks & Spencer.

When you're tall (I'm 5'9) it can be so difficult to find jeans that are long enough which is why it's great that M&S are one of the few retailers that offer full denim ranges in petite, regular and long. This pair is a size 8L and they still look long enough with platform tan heeled sandals from New Look which is a miracle! But what I love about this style the most is the stretch and comfort. Although the jeans are figure-hugging I didn't once feel as though these jeans felt too tight and the high-waist is also super flattering and especially good for tucking tops in.

I styled this blouse in two ways so you can see how it looks tucked in and out of the jeans. As the fabric is really light, it's the perfect top for everyday wear, holidays and I'd imagine it would look super lovely with some denim shorts and sandals come the summer months - although I wasn't brave enough to get my legs out just yet! I really love the high neckline and sheer detailing on the top, plus it has little buttons half way down the back so it's an ideal floral addition to your wardrobe for Spring. To pull the look together I added a plaited tan belt and some statement earrings for a bohemian edge.

I enjoyed styling the flares so much I've decided to do a Seventies series so I'll be posting two other outfits around these flares this week. It looks like they're out of stock online at the moment but fingers crossed they are still available in store! You can find other flared styles at M&S here in the meantime.

How will you be styling your flares this season?

As a happy hump day treat, I wanted to introduce you all to my latest high-street beauty discovery.  With many fragrance brands charging an extortionate amount for the smallest 30ml bottle I've given up on spritzing myself with my most favourite fragrances throughout the week and so I've invested in some lower priced options that I can use as much as I please and throw in my handbag without worrying about the cost or damaging the pretty bottle.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Chanel Chance Eau De Parfum, Valentino Valentina fragrance...the list goes on. However, I needed an affordable alternative to use at work and during the week and I'm delighted to report that this New Look Pure Dusk Eau De Parfum (£7.99 for 50ml - buy here) smells exactly the same as Lancôme's La Vie Est Belle.

I've used the Lancôme La Vie Est Belle fragrance before and it's a beautiful sweet fragrance with lasting notes of jasmin, orange blossom and patchouli essence, and I love everything about it apart from the price tag (£45.00 for 30ml). Granted, it's worth splashing out on a fragrance if you absolutely love it, but I've learnt to save my more expensive fragrances for special occasions which is why this New Look option is super handy as it smells just as delicious!

I think this is the first time New Look has ventured into the fragrance department, but after trying Pure Dusk, I'm keen to try the other scents including Pure Touch, Pure Devotion and Pure Blush.

You can find the full fragrance collection in-store or online here.

What's your best fragrance dupe?

If you love denim as much as I do you'll be very excited to hear that Marks & Spencer has launched a new Denim Innovations range to cover off all of the key denim trends for SS15. Each style features new and improved fabric to flatter every figure whilst each style has been designed to last longer so you can wear them time and time again. Genius, I know!

The start of the Spring means 'out with the old and in with the new' and updating your denim collection by throwing on a new pair of jeans is the perfect way to update your look for the season ahead. Whether you want to try a lighter wash denim or rock this season's Seventies kick flare, here are the denim staples that you'll want to invest in and team with everything!

StayDark Jeans - From £35

We all know how annoying it is when jeans fade after each wash, which is why this StayDark pair are a complete must-have. Featuring fade resistant technology, this style will stay the same colour no matter how many times you wash them and is a great choice if, like me, you wash your skinny jeans each time you've worn them.

Sculpt and Lift Jeans - From £35

If you like your jeans to be figure-hugging in all the right places, the Sculpt and Lift Jeans are the perfect pick. I love my jeans to be as tight and as stretchy as possible as I think a balance of the two creates the best fit. This style is my favourite as it has clever curved darts and seams to create shape and an all-round flattering fit. If a curvy derrière isn't one of your greatest assets, I'd imagine this style would work wonders! The Sculpt and Lift Jeans are available in four shapes: skinny, straight leg, jegging and slim bootcut.

Dual FX - From £25

In my opinion, jeans should be fitted but still comfortable. There's nothing worse than not being able to sit down in a pair of jeans which is why this Dual FX pair sound like a dream everyday pair. Combining two different types of Lycra, this style is soft yet stretchy enough to retain its shape over time. I think I need to stock up...

Ozone Wash Denim - From £18

If you're forever washing your jeans so they will keep their shape, this Ozone wash pair will be your latest style saviour and help you to break the habit. Reducing the need for harsh chemicals during washes, this sustainable pair needs fewer rinses, saving up to 40% of waste water.

The Denim Innovations collection is available now in-store and online here and you can also find your perfect pair by reading the Marks & Spencer guide to denim here.

I've been feeling a little stressed and tired lately so on Sunday night there seemed to be only one thing for it, a night of Lush pampering and a nice long soak. I'm not usually a fan of baths and tend to prefer showers but now I've tried this relaxing regime, I think I'm totally converted.

I picked up the Twilight bath bomb and my oh my did this little ball of joy work wonders and sort my mood right out. With hints of lavendar and plenty of lilac bubbles, not to mention a scattering of glitter, I was left feeling calm and de-stressed in no time at all. I even managed to work my way through a pile of magazines because I literally did not want to get out!

After enjoying bath time so much, I've decided to giveaway a Lush bath bomb of your choice!

To enter you need to:

- Follow my blog via Google Friend Connect.
- Comment below with your favourite ever Lush bath bomb and your email address.
- The winner will be announced in two weeks time.

If you haven't tried the bath bombs before, you can find the full range here.

Happy Monday!

What I'm Wearing:

Polo Neck: F&F Clothing at Tesco
 Waistcoat: Topshop
Trousers: Zara
Lace Up Flats: New Look
Bag: Marks & Spencer

Last weekend I was lucky enough to shoot my latest outfit post in a photography studio which felt very glamorous compared to shooting outside my front door. The photography is by David Lester.

If there's two things I can't stop wearing at the moment it's 1) polo necks and 2) layering everything up to keep off the chill so this look pretty much sums up my current look.

Working in fashion means I'm constantly updating my wardrobe but with the news that I'm going to be moving down South, I'm having to be good and save my pennies for a house, which means I'm having to get the most out of my key pieces!

My cream duster coat by & Other Stories is perfect for Spring as it goes with everything, but it was a bit of a risqué buy as sometimes I'm too scared to wear it because I'll get it dirty, but it's still a great statement piece to have. I think it would perfect with a loose grey tee, ripped skinny jeans and pointed courts so that's a look I'm hoping to covet soon! You can find a similar style here.

I'm getting an unhealthy obsession to polo necks at the moment but I just can't help it because they go with everything! I like tucking them into trousers, skirts or pairing with skinny jeans and a blazer. I can't help thinking they look really classic too, plus they're great for layering. This one in camel is from F&F at Tesco and was an absolute bargain. You can find a similar style here.

Long-line tailored waistcoat's are perfect for the transition into Spring and really take the edge off cooler days. This black style from Topshop has been my go-to layering piece for teaming with dresses, tops and blouses.

Printed trousers are also a favourite trend of mine as they can be worn in so many ways. This pair from Zara work well for work and weekends and I love teaming this pair with heels and fringing for a more fun evening look. You can find similar styles here.

My snake print bag is an old Marks & Spencer's find and I've worn it tonnes. The snake print finish is a nod to the Seventies trend whilst the size is perfect for all my everyday essentials..well almost!

Last but not least are these amazing lace up flats by New Look which you can find here. Working in London a lot means flats are an essential so I was over the moon to find this lace up pair with gold heel detailing. Lace up flats are a huge trend at the moment and I'm looking forward to wearing this style with culottes and bronzed legs in the summer!

What do you think of today's look?
