What I'm Wearing:

Coat - H&M - here
Blouse - Stylistpick
Jeans - Topshop - here
Bag - Marks & Spencer (Past Season)
Necklace -New Look
Shoes - Stuart Weitzman for Russell & Bromley (Past Season)

Investing in a new coat is one of my favourite things about Winter. I like to get a different coat every season to make sure there's plenty of versatility in my wardrobe and this time I went for a timeless camel coat from H&M. This coat was pretty reasonable at £59.99 as it's great quality, has gorgeous cream lining as well as a removable belt with gold detailing.

I've thrown it on over everything so far but this time I've teamed it with my printed Alice & You blouse from Stylistpick.com (definitely check this website out as there's loads of brands on there), my Topshop coated leather look jeans and my cut-out Stuart Weitzman wedges.

I took these photos when the weather was much brighter than it is now so I'm making the most of these snaps during the hurricane season! Bad weather makes it so difficult to blog but luckily I'm off to Paris tomorrow for my birthday so I'm hoping to style some outfits up there!

If you have any recommendations of places I should visit on my birthday trip to Paris please leave a comment below, I'd love to see any Parisienne-inspired posts to get me in the mood before I go!

Thanks for reading,

My London Fashion Week streetstyle snaps are making a very late appearance to my blog but as the outfits were so amazing I thought it's definitely a case of better late than never!

I've never been lucky enough to be invited to some of the top shows at LFW but I'm praying this happens one day, as the atmosphere around Somerset House alone is so inspirational. You get to meet so many nice people so if you've never been to London before when it's fashion week I would definitely recommend it for networking alone.

I met the lovely Zahra, blogger of I am Chic London so you should definitely check out her blog over at iamchiclondon.com.

On another note, I've recently had my blog redesigned so I hope you love the new minimalist look as much as I do!

I hope you all enjoy my little snapshot of London Fashion Week and thank you for reading as always.

Recently I was lucky enough to have my hair styled and makeup done at Simply Blow Bar in Preston. This compact but ultra-glamorous salon offers speedy hair and makeup services in just 30 minutes (£15 per service) which means it's much easier to get party ready on-the-go!

The service starts with a friendly chat about the sort of look you want to achieve. Whether it's a sleek ponytail or full bouncy blow dry, the Simply Blow Bar girls are more than accommodating and can create any look to suit your individual style.

Plus, the service starts with a complimentary cocktail on arrival which has got to be the best way to start a girlie night out!

You can choose to have your hair washed and blow dried or put up in an array of gorgeous up-do's but as I usually like to have my hair down for a night out I went for soft, loose waves and I was very pleased with the result. As my hair is long and deceivingly thick, this saved me so much time whilst the waves stayed in place all night long.

For my makeup I went for soft autumnal colours including browns and pinks and I was more than happy with this natural look. The makeup used was all MAC apart from a stunning Dolce & Gabanna bronzer that was used to create a contoured effect. I like my makeup to be defined and simply but if you're looking for full weekend lashes, a bold lip or statement eyes, the girls can definitely cater to your every beauty need.
I think this service is an affordable, quick and easy way to get glammed up for all occasions, whilst it also encourages you to try something new.For instance, the lovely Becky used a soft brown eyeliner to line my inner and outer eyelid and I really loved the effect, so this is definitely something I aim to try at home.

The salon also offers group bookings so it's the perfect excuse to go for a birthday treat with friends, enjoy some cocktails and leave looking truly fabulous.

I know where I'll be going every Saturday to get weekend ready!

You can visit the Simply Blow Bar website here, but if you have any questions about the service feel free to comment below!
