I'm at Vogue Festival this weekend so going to try to post updates in between all the workshops and fill you in on what's been going on!
I went to a workshop on personal style this morning with insights from Lisa Armstrong,Lucinda Chambers, Amanda Harlech and Alexa Chung and it was amazing!
Of course, they were all dressed fabulously well! Lucinda Chambers wore a mix up of Celine, high-street and Portobello road buys, Amanda Harlech wore Chanel Couture (how fabulous for a Saturday morning!?) and Alexa Chung looked lovely in a white midi shirt dress with a cute sparkly crop top layered over (not sure of the brand!)
Here's a few little quotes..
'So many things appeal to me and that's my problem' - LC
'Style gets easier as you get older and evolve' - LC
'If I go on a date I would wear dungarees, because if they like me in that then it will be fine!' - AC
I don't necessarily follow trends but I like to follow stories' - AH
It was also interesting to find out that the panel believe that you don't need huge amounts of money to look stylish. You just need to be yourself, make mistakes (they all admitted to wearing terrible outfits at some time in their lives!) and be adventurous. Another tip is to ask your friends 'what's been my best ever look?' to help you find your own unique and personal style.
The talk ended with a brilliant quote:
Fashion fades but style is eternal
And here's my outfit from Day 1 at Vogue Festival:
What I'm wearing:

What do you think personal style is?
