Make your feet happy this season with a stylish footwear update.

Winter boots always form a staple part of any wardrobe during the cold months and there is nothing better than starting the season with a brand new style.

From the classic Chelsea boot, to the Seventies knee-high block-heel boots, there are prints, shapes and styles to suit all budgets.

If you usually go for a leather boot, why not try a ruby red suede? This season even goes as far as glitter boots, leopard prints and studded bikers,if you dare!

Here's my top ten winter wonders..

Why not begin with some sparkle?

Topshop 'Ambush' silver glitter boots are perfect for glamming up outfits for the day or for evening wow factor. And with Christmas coming up we might as well start festivities early? They also come in black glitter, leopard print, plain black and brown.

If you like a classic flat riding boot the Office 'Journey On' Boots would make a versatile choice to wear with skinny jeans or dresses. The tan leather makes them stand out from the many other plain black designs, adding a highly refined and equestrian edge.

As Seventies styles continue to reign, these Diane von Furstenberg fringed suede boots are hot on trend. The deep burgundy red shade and the fringed detail will add an instant statement. Channel the style with a snake-print shift dress for extra style points.

If you prefer to keep your feet very cosy in Winter these fur Charing LK Bennett Boots will most definitely fit the bill. Fur-tipped with toffee-coloured suede,AND a practical wedge heel-what's not to love?

Chelsea boot-check. Cuban heel-check. Velvet-check. These 'Cubana' beauties by Penelope Chilvers are bang on trend. Brighten up the dull winter weather by adding some va-va-voom to your everyday looks!

Another fabulous knee high classic are River Islands 'Black Seam Detail knee Boots'. With tan plaited detail and tassels, these boots will be sure to dress up any occasion. If you're always struggling to decide between a black or brown pair this style is a great alternative.
If you have more of a grungy alternative style wear the Sugar Star-Studded Biker Boots by Ash ,as the perfect mix of grunge and glam. With stars all over the catwalks at Dolce & Gabanna this season you will be sure to shine...

Shearling boots are back this season and this striking pair of Mame Shearling and Brocade ankle boots by Bally do not disappoint. 'The pin heel gives this pair a glamorous spin - show yours off with leggings or skinny jeans'- and who wouldn't listen to Net-a-porter's fountain of style knowledge.

If you prefer a cowboy style go for this pair of Aztec print Hand-woven wool and brushed leather ankle boot by Cobra Society. This style is versatile, unique and will look even better with age.Wear with an oversized cable knit jumper for effortless appeal.

Last but not least, are these two tone Combined snake skin knee-high boots by Zara. I love the contrast of the suede and snake-print and the manageable heel height. With a slightly pointed toe to create a leg-lengthening effect and an ideal daytime heel, it's pretty tricky not to make a purchase.

So which boots will you be wearing this season?
